Things To Do In Cincinnati This Weekend July 18-20

Cincinnati Skyline at night showing the Reds Stadium and the skyline.

I love Cincinnati and helping people find things to do!

Hi! I”m Andrew - Below you are going to find some of the things I’m most excited about happening in my hometown of Cincinnati - and things I, myself am thinking about doing this weekend, which also happens to be my birthday weekend!

However, before we dive right into this weekend - I want you to know that I run a company that is all about helping people visit cities around the world like a local - and we have teams building guides to cities all over the world, but including Cincinnati. So if my team can craft a totally free guide just for you - click here! There’s no BS or ads in the guide - since it's my hometown I just want to offer this as a free service. You’ll tell us a little bit about what you’re looking for and then within a few hours we will send you a handmade guide! Try it out, nothing to lose!

Ok - onto things to do in Cincinnati this weekend!

Music and Concerts

Dierks Bentley is playing at Riverbend this weekend. You know he has to be a country super star for me to know who he is, lol. If you haven’t been to Riverbend it’s so much fun to be outdoors and just vibing to a concert. He’s playing Friday July 18, and could be an awesome last minute splurge! Tickets and Info.

Welcome To Night Vale - Ok this one seems really interesting. It’s a live stage show based on the hit podcast of the same name. It’s at Taft Theater - and is a comedy horror romp. Tickets are still available. It’s also on Friday July 18. Tickets and info.

The Head and the Heart - A concert down at Smale Park right on the river by the stadiums. I can’t speak to the band but its one of my favorite places to see a show - it’s relaxed, outdoors, and has plenty of bars around at The Banks to pre or post game. It’s on Sunday night at 7:30 pm. Tickets and Info

Festivals and Fairs

St Cecilia Parish Festival - They are celebrating the 40th anniversary of this festival. They have a TON of programming for kids and families and could be a great way to spend your weekend up in Oakley. The biggest highlight, in my very humble opinion is that Blessid Union of Souls is playing Friday night! Info Here.

Bacon, Bourbon, and Brew Fest - Ok this is most likely where you will find me at some point this weekend - 3 of my favorite things and on my bday weekend! :D. Its happening at Newport and promises to be great for the whole family. They will have inflateables and live music and plenty of good food and drink. Info here.

Markets and In The Community

City Flea Market - This happens monthly right by my house in Washington Park! It’s super chill and a lot of fun to shop from local vendors. There are normally plenty of food trucks and two different bars that are open in the park - so it’s a great time to shop, hang out and the kids can enjoy the splash pads. Info Here.

Night Market at Findlay Market - open 5-9pm on Saturday - this is an annual event where the market and surrounding stores stay open late and have special shopping. I’ll most likely be checking this out - going to the market on the weekends is already one of my favorite things! They’ll be live music and more. Info Here.

Sporty Stuff!

Upper Deck Golf at Great American Ball Park - This seems SO cool and they’ve been running ads all over social for a long time. You get to tee off from the upper deck of Great American Ballpark (Clearly the Reds are out of town) and hit golf balls into the outfield. It is a little pricey… starting at $90/per person but tee times are still available! Tickets and info here.

Kids Outdoor Adventure Expo - Happening up in Winton Woods - this is a free event (at a base level) with rock climbing, zip lining, water activities and more! They are also doing a race on Saturday, but it does cost to register. Lots of big sponsors, this looks very legit and like a great time for the kiddos! Info Here.
